Students at KIS follow the national curriculum for England, with all subjects taught in English. With age, academic rigour increases, our students are challenged, supported and extended in an environment of encouragement, expectation and aspiration. We have high ambitions for our students and believe that to help them reach their potential. The academic and pastoral environments must be challenging, stimulating and supportive. They encourage engagement and participation with plentiful opportunities for students to work in groups and independently, to develop their own passions and to present their own opinions and ideas. We believe that environments which are safe, respectful and fun help to promote achievement, responsibility and to build self-esteem.
